Galectin-3 Antibody (IHC)
$500.00
100μl (Concentrated)
Galectin-3 is a homotypic cell adhesion lectin, which is a chimeric structure composed of a β-galactosidically bound protein (Galectin-3 domain) and a laminin. The main role of Galectin-3 on the cell surface is related to the adhesion between similar cells. It can down-regulate the expression of certain cecal cancer and breast cancer-related proteins and promote the metastasis of these tumors. Studies have shown that the combination of Galectin-3 and Cytokeratin-19 can be used for the diagnosis of papillary thyroid adenocarcinoma. It is a very effective marker for anaplastic large cell lymphoma and can also be used as a reference indicator for the degree of tumor progression.
