Glucagon Antibody (IHC)

Glucagon can be used to study glucagon-secreting cells as well as tumor cells, such as glucagonomas. Studies show that approximately 80% of glucagonomas are malignant, and patients present with a combination of symptoms, often initially identified by dermatologists. These include necrolytic erythema migrans, diabetes, anemia, stomatitis, weight loss, high frequency of venous thrombosis, and in some cases diarrhea and mental disorders. Glucagon concentration can be used as a reference for studying glucagonoma.
