Ksp-Cadherin Antibody (IHC)

Kidney-specific cadherin (Ksp-Cadherin) is a new member of the cadherin molecule family and is kidney-specific. In renal tissue, Ksp-Cadherin is only expressed in the basement membrane of renal tubular epithelium and collecting duct epithelium, but not in glomeruli, renal interstitial cells and blood vessels. It has been demonstrated that the loss of many different cadherin molecules (E-cadherin molecule, N-cadherin molecule, cadherin-delta, etc.) may be associated with dedifferentiation and lymph node metastasis in renal cell tumors. Studies by Shen et al. have shown that Ksp-Cadherin has a sensitivity of up to 100% in renal chromophobe cell carcinoma (13/13) and a sensitivity of 95% in renal oncocytic adenoma (19/20).
