CD31 Antibody (IHC)

CD31, also known as platelet endothelial cell adhesion molecule (PECAM-1), is a transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 130-140kDa. It belongs to the immunoglobulin superfamily and is found in megakaryocytes, platelets, certain plasma cells, lymphocytes and Weakly expressed in neutrophils. The CD31 antibody mainly labels endothelial cells and is used to identify benign/malignant vasogenic tumors and the angiogenesis status in the tumor stroma. CD31 is not expressed in non-vascular tumors and has very high specificity and sensitivity for studying vascular tumors.
