CD35 is a transmembrane protein with a relative molecular weight of 160-250KD, which can bind to complement C3b and C4b, so it is also called complement receptor 1. CD35 is expressed on all CD20+ B lymphocytes and CD14+ monocytes, and is also expressed on certain subsets of T cells (about 5%). This antibody is primarily used to label follicular dendritic cells and follicular dendritic cell sarcomas/tumors.
