Napsin A Antibody (IHC)
100μl (Concentrated)
Napsin is a peptic enzyme-like aspartic protease, and there are two closely related Napsins, NapsinA and NapsinB. NapsinA is a single-chain protein with a molecular weight close to 38KDa and has special functions in normal alveolar epithelium. Immunohistochemistry studies have shown that this protein is highly expressed in human lungs and kidneys, but low in spleen. NapsinA expression type II lung epithelium and lung adenocarcinoma. It is reported that NapsinA is expressed in about 90% of primary lung adenocarcinomas. NapsinA is usually expressed positively in some poorly differentiated lung adenocarcinoma cases that are negative for TTF-1, so this antibody can be used together with TTF-1 for identification. Primary lung adenocarcinoma versus organ-derived adenocarcinoma of other tissues.
