Arginase-1 (Arginase-1) is an enzyme that uses arginine as a raw material to catalyze the decomposition of ornithine and urea. It is a key component of the urea cycle. As a cytoplasmic enzyme, Arginase-1 is highly specifically expressed in liver tissue, but is not expressed in bile duct epithelial cells, liver sinusoidal endothelial cells, Kupffer cells, and vascular endothelial cells.
