NeuN Antibody (IHC)
100μl (Concentrated)
The vertebrate neuron-specific nuclear protein is named NeuN. The antibody can react with various types of nerve cells in the central nervous system, including cells from the cerebellum, cerebral cortex, hippocampus, thalamus, and spinal cord; it can also react with neurons in the peripheral nervous system, including spinal ganglia and sympathetic ganglia. and intestinal wall plexus. In immunohistochemistry, antibody staining mainly stains the nucleus of neurons, accompanied by light staining of the cytoplasm. Purkinje cells and coronal photoreceptor cells do not react with this antibody. Usually, the immune response of this antibody can only be observed transiently in the late mitosis phase of neuronal cells, and NeuN is not expressed during the cell proliferation period. NeuN is a very good marker expressed in mature neurons and retinoic acid-stimulated P19 cells. This antibody is particularly effective in identifying transplanted neuronal cells.
