CA 125 Antibody (IHC)

CA125 is a membrane surface glycoprotein that is a major marker for epithelial ovarian cancer, especially serous adenocarcinoma. CA125 is mainly expressed in serous adenocarcinoma of the ovary, but almost not expressed in mucinous adenocarcinoma of the ovary, which is helpful for its research. CA125 can also be positive in papillary serous carcinoma of the cervix, endometrial adenocarcinoma, clear cell carcinoma of the bladder, epithelioid mesothelioma, and seminal vesicle carcinoma, but is not expressed in normal ovary and squamous epithelium.
