CD14 Antibody (IHC)

CD14 is a glycophosphatidylinositol-related membrane protein involved in endotoxin binding and recognition of apoptotic cells. CD14 antibody labels monocytes, dendritic cells, tissue cells, Kupffer cells in liver sinusoidal tubules, etc. CD14, S100, and CD68 are used in the study of lymph node proliferative diseases with histiocytosis. In monocytic leukemia and histiocytic lymphoma, tumor cells are CD14 positive. CD14 antibodies label diffuse large B-cell lymphoma and splenic marginal zone lymphoma, but not other B-cell lymphomas.
