CD38 Antibody (IHC)

CD38 is a type II transmembrane glycoprotein with a molecular weight of 46kDa. Although CD38 was originally discovered as a T cell differentiation antigen, recent studies have shown that it has widespread cell and tissue distribution. CD38 is expressed on thymocytes, pre-B cells, germinal center B cells, plasma cells, monocytes, NK cells, mitogen-activated T cells and other cells. It can be used for the classification of acute leukemia and the activation of T cells in autoimmunity. It can also be used as a selective marker for germinal center B cells.
