Although more than half of glioblastoma tumors were positive for Oligo-2 expression, the expression was weak in terms of proportion of positive cells and intensity of positivity. In non-glial tumors including neuroepithelial tumors, ependymoma, subependymoma, medulloblastoma and CNS lymphoma, meningiomas, schwannoma, atypical teratoid/ It is not expressed in non-neuroepithelial tumors including rhabdoid tumors and hemangioblastomas. Compared to strong expression in gliomas, Oligo-2 is weakly expressed in non-tumor brain tissue (gliosis).
