p40 Antibody (IHC)

p40 (△ Np63) is one of the subtypes of p63 protein. In daily pathological diagnosis, p63 is widely used to classify lung cancer. It has high sensitivity in lung squamous cell carcinoma, but it is also partially expressed in lung squamous cell carcinoma. Compared with p63, p40 has a high sensitivity similar to p63 antibodies in lung squamous cell carcinoma, but is rarely expressed in lung adenocarcinoma. Therefore, p40 is recommended for the differential diagnosis of lung squamous cell carcinoma and lung adenocarcinoma.
