p57Kip2 is a cell cycle inhibitory factor whose gene is located at 11p15.5. By blocking the G1/S phase transition in the cell cycle, it achieves negative regulation of the cell cycle and prevents cell proliferation and tumor formation. Mainly used for the research of various malignant tumors such as astrocytoma.
