The ROS1 gene is located on chromosome 6q21, encoding 2347 amino acids, with a molecular weight of 259kDa. The ROS1 protein encoded by it is a transmembrane tyrosine kinase and a member of the insulin receptor family. ROS1 protein consists of 6 repeats of fibronectin, a transmembrane region and an intramembrane sister domain. Literature has shown that ROS1 plays an important role in the differentiation of epididymal epithelium.
