SATB2 Antibody (IHC)

The SATB2 gene is located on chromosome 2q32-q33, and the SATB2 protein encoded by it is 733 amino acids long. The SATB2 protein contains a homology domain and shows significant evolutionary conservation. SATB2 protein can specifically bind to the DNA nuclear matrix binding region and participate in the regulation of chromatin transcription and remodeling. SATB2 protein is tissue-specific and is rarely expressed in normal human tissues. It is selectively expressed in epithelial-derived tissues and glandular cells of the lower gastrointestinal tract.
