CD8 is mainly distributed in suppressor T/toxic T cells and is positive for NK cells. In normal lymphoid tissue, the expression rate of CD8 is significantly lower than that of CD4, and it is mainly used for research on T cell subsets. CD8 is positive in large granular lymphocytic leukemia and some T-ALL/T-LBL. CD8 can be used as an auxiliary diagnosis for T lymphoblastic lymphoma.
