The FLI-1 gene and FLI-1 protein are known to play an important role in the pathogenesis of Ewing’s sarcoma/peripheral neuroectodermal tumor. FLI-1 was first used in the diagnosis of Ewing’s sarcoma/peripheral primitive neuroectodermal tumors, and its specificity and sensitivity are better than CD99. Recent studies have confirmed that the FLI-1 gene also plays an important role in the embryonic development of blood vessels. It is expressed in endothelial cells of various types of blood vessels (arteries, veins and lymphatic vessels) in the human body, and the positive rate of angiosarcoma is as high as 90%. , also expressed in lymphoblastic lymphoma. This antibody is recommended in combination with CD99 for the differential diagnosis of Ewing sarcoma/peripheral neuroectodermal tumor (ES/PNET), tumors of endothelial origin, especially epithelioid endothelial tumors and epithelial tumors.
