SOX genes are a family of genes encoding transcription factors. SOX11 is mainly related to embryonic neural development. High expression of SOX11 has been reported in mantle cell lymphoma (MCL), including CyclinD1-negative MCL with typical morphological changes. However, it is negatively expressed in B-cell lymphoma proliferative diseases.
